Tommy deservedly gets called out for being a homer but I watch many games on League PAss and he's not the only one. By far the worst homers I've noticed are the Spurs broadcasters especially Sean Elliot. There was one game when he kept calling Lamar Odom "Lamar Kardashian" or "Mr. Kardashian." There are many others but Elliot definitely stands out.

Nash should have been booted when he got his technical.  SCREAMING f you more than a few times at ref.  How do all three refs pretend not to hear it?  You could even hear a fan telling him to watch his language because there were kids.

I was wondering why I didn't see that. It wasn't shown in the suns broadcast.

I was watching the Suns broadcast, and they did show it.

And bingbangbarros, he DID get the T.

He got a T before he started drooping all of the F bombs, not because of it.

Tommy and Mike may be homers, but they're class acts and I can't recall hearing them berate a player like that. It's just plain disrespectful.

Yeah I heard the broadcast and got a little peeved a few times, especially when one of them nonchalantly referred to KG as busting out "dirty" plays.  Also they took KG to task for "hiking his shorts and clapping" when guarding Nash.  Basically for getting himself pumped up to guard an elite player, which is ridiculous... but they were simultaneously praising the celtics and KG for how good they are, how competitive, etc.  And when PP stared down Channing Frye after the dunk they were split as far as whether it was classless or not.

I laughed so hard at the Suns commentators and their pathetic-ness.

At the end of the 2nd quarter one of them said, "Well here would be a good spot for the Suns to go on a 10-2 run".

What happend? Celtics close the quarter on a 10-2 run, and that commentator's hope was shattered, haha.

Wow, sorry, I did not feel that way at all. They were extremely complimentary of the Celtics all game long, and marveled at their team work, defense, passing, etc.  They understandably got very excited when the Suns made their come-back, and yes, threw some darts at the Celtic players for some things, including Rondo's last second 3 point shot which was, let's face it, bush league. If you guys thought they were terrible homers, you have not been listening to other teams' broadcaster. These guys were as complimentary as you will see from the other side's broadcast team.

Maybe you missed what Eddie Johnson had to say when Rondo took that last second jumper. He said something to the effect of praising Dudley for clocking Rondo.

Eddie Johnson wasn't calling the game. That was ex-Bull Scott Williams.
