He was just on comcast saying that the C's definitely aren't done signing players. He said after missing out on Brewer, they are still looking for wings. He mentioned Pavlovic as someone the c's have had interest in .

Ugh I really wish kapono and TJ Ford were bought out , [dang] it

I would sign Arroyo and either pavlovic or hughes I guess....

who do you want?

UPDATE
Herald says we will sign Sasha Pavlovic:

Celtics will sign Pavlovic

Quote
Having missed out on Corey Brewer, who will sign with Dallas, the Celtics will soon be making a deal with free agent Sasha Pavlovic, according to league sources.

Larry Hughes in my opinion, hes better then Pavlovic and would only be playing during garbage time anyways.

I guess Arroyo...and do a coin toss for the other. They are all going to waive the towel anyway.

No Pavlovic. What a waste. I'd rather have an injured Marquis Daniels taking up that roster spot. I do think Arroyo would be a good pick up for someone as 3rd pg to pick up some minutes if DWest goes down.

Wouldn't mind Stackhouse either.

I was thinking Arroyo since he'd give insurance in case West went down.

Hughes wouldn't be a bad option either as he could be like Marquis and play some wing and some point in a pinch.

Azubuike, more for next year than this so he could be had for cheap one year contract.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Why not Azubuike? Or is he too small (6'5")?

There are major doubts Azubuike can play pro basketball again and it's certain he won't be able to do it this season. Plus, his last NBA game was 500 days ago. There'll be plenty of time to sign Azubuike.

They should do what they did with Lafayette and that other kid, the local, last season, but this time around pick guys who can actually play.

Agree. Azubuike's got very good 3-point percentage and only in his late 20s. Size is not bad and he could actually give Ray enough rests and take the 3-pt shooting chores.

For another wing, maybe it's time to offer a 10-day contract to DeShawn Sims and see what he can really bring to the team.

West's wrist, by his own admission, is not going to be 100% for another 5-6 months. Who do we have as our back up PG if he goes down in the playoffs? Arroyo can't hurt as the 14th man on our roster.

Azubuike is a reach at this time (imho) and  Pavlovic couldn't guard his mother.
