Rondo can do whatever he wants as long as the team keeps winning.

Although, I did not like the 3 point attempt at the end of the game...you don't do that when you have the game sealed...I had no problem with the Dudley push on that one.

Rondo was bush league at the end of the game. Lucky that he did not get smacked harder or hurt by Bradley.

There is a lot of bad blood between these teams. I think the players were trying to embarrass Gentry for his remarks against KG after last game.

In his post game conference, Doc approved of that 3 pt attempt. Apparently, the Phoenix bench and coaching staff were running their mouth at the end of the game and Doc felt they should have gotten a technical for that.

Didn't catch the post-game, bro.  Switched channels as soon as the buzzer sounded.  Thanks for the clarification.  Phoenix deserved it then, I guess.  TP for you.

Yeah I figured it had to be something like that...I don't recall Rondo ever doing that before (that I remember). I'm sure the hack a Rondo at the end of the game when it was out of reach ticked him off too.

I would agree with you if this were 08' or 09'...but this season and last season he's been very consistent. Obviously he has bad games, but what player doesn't? And I understand him not going 100% every game to save some energy for the playoffs, especially given his injury situation.

A lot of people formed their opinions of Rondo during the 07-08 season and haven't really changed their thoughts.

Sad, but very true.

I think Rondo is becoming a pretty consistent player, every guy has off nights and Rondo's not immune to that. I think he's "spoiled us with his play" - everyone expects 15+ assists and a near triple double every game. An All-Star 2 years in a row - leading the league in assists this season, and he still can't get respect from some of his own fans...

this. ^^
and we're forgetting to factor in their opponents on certain games. some nights the other team's PG gets the upperhand. say for example, DWill. he frustrates Rondo whenver they play. sometimes he struggles against other guards, making you think that he "takes nights off". i think that it is plain unfair to say that.

I have absolutely no problem with what Rondo did at the end of the game. The Celtics were running the clock out at the end of the game 115-103 lead and didnt take a shot just letting the clock run out while taking a 24 second violation on purpose. So the gesture went overlooked by Gentry and he wanted to get a garbage basket with less than 10 seconds left of a 12 pt. game. Boston just had Baby hurt, clearly wanting the game to end without something strange happening like a injury and the Suns basically said F-you Celtics! Where was all that hard playing when the Celtics were up 30 with the starters in. Doc clearly wasnt going to bring his stars back in and run the score up and thats why the Suns got back in it. Jared Dudley was tweeting silly things like " We went out and bought Channing Frye a cup just in case KG trys anything" just throwing fuel on the fire on top of Gentry's comments from before so they paid for it! Point blank they showed a lack of respect for some true professional Celtic players (Champions) so why should Rondo have respected those guys the way there were acting at the end of that game with all that mouthing while going down in defeat!

I think Rondo does pretty good against DWill.

This thread got Rondo'd tonight
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

It was also pretty weak when Phoenix went to the hoop after Pierce took the 24 second violation at the end of the game. I'm glad Rondo took the shot for that reason.

Whats the fuss about. Rondo did his thing tonight. If you watched the Bulls-Hawks game last night you will see a lackluster effort from Rose. 5 out of 21 shooting to get 12 points (yuck). missed all threes he attempted and was stuffed by Marvin Williams. Need I say more. Enough with these threads complaining about Rondo. He gets it done when it need be. Check back to the Warriors, Magic, and Heat games. c'mon son.

I think sometimes it is frustrating when Rondo turns the ball over with a nonchalant because we forget that it is that exact style that confuses defenders and leads to so many easy shots for his teammates.

There is also the problem of people jumping on every bad game a player has when all players have bad games.
