Just wondering if anyone has a good list of stations and shows on radio that usually do some Celtics talk. Days and time would be appreciated.

Thanks.

In the Boston area, you basically just have WEEI's "Celtics Thursday".  The morning show ussually talks to Doc around 9am, midday talks to a random celtics player I think around noon (not positive on that one), and the Big Show talks to Danny Ainge around 5pm.

Beyond that, everything is driven by whatever is stirring up callers on a given day.

I would imagine though, with the new Big Show, there will be more Celtics talk than normal, simply because both the Big O and Holley are the two biggest basketball guys of any of the regular hosts in Boston.

And I'm going to bet none now on the new mid-day show.

Thanks guys, I don't live in Boston so I'm not familiar at all with radio there, while I was there in college I never cared for radio so now I'm lost.

God bless online streamers.  Will check that Celtics Thursday thing tomorrow.

God I hope so.  Hearing Lou Merloni talk anything other than baseball is downright painful (much like the midday show on Sports Hub talking about anything other than Football).

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Jackie MacMullan calls in for every 'Celtics Thursday' right at noon time too..in fact I think they say "12:02 pm" exactly lol. IMO she's always a good listen.

I listened to WEEI when I lived in Boston (my whole life before I moved two years ago). If I remember correctly, it's pretty much baseball 24/7 - especially around this time with spring training starting. Thursday certainly turns a little green, but I remember being very frustrated by the lack of Celtics coverage on the radio. Thank goodness for celticsblog!

I am a fan of the celtics internet podcasts  (there are many) where you can listen, chat and call in...  )

My favorites are:

CSL (Celtics Stuff Live) which uses the CB chat room during their shows.  The usual time and day is 9:00 p.m. EST on Sunday night (depending on game times) and is usually posted on the front page of the CB before the broadcast...you can also access the audio from the front page).

CLNS (Celtics Late Night Show).  CLSN is expanding to add more shows...check on their site for times and days.  Nick Gelso is in charge over there.  They have their own chat room.

These two groups also have pre and post game wrap ups.  You can also access past shows at their sites.  (They both have good informative guests and a very informal style.)

Enjoy.

Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift...

Well I misspoke... when I said "NOW" really means, an hour from now. Sorry.

Seems like Jackie is coming up at the top of the hour.

Just an FYI, but they archive most of those interviews the same day. I think there's an "On Demand" or "Archive" menu at the top of their homepage.
