I dunno if the Cs would even be interested, but I noticed that Al Thornton needs to clear waivers before he can sign with GSW.

Interesting cap question: can a team over the cap claim a guy like AT (making 2.8mil) if they have a roster spot?

No we can't because we don't have the cap space.

Just look about this example; if MIA really wanted Troy Murphy wouldn't they just claim him off the waiver wire?  No they can't because they don't have the cap space to do it.

You need cap space or a lareg enough trade exception to claim a player.

Too bad the Marquis exception is a little too small. If Brewer goes elsewhere, could have been a good option.

Can trade exceptions be combined (we have Quis, Semih, Gody)?

Al Thorton was good in college.

I have nothing else to say because that is the end of the story....he has done NOTHING in the pros.

Another guy the Cs just miss out on for picking up on waivers with the size of Quis' exception (though you wonder if the figures are perfectly accurate): Rasual Butler.

About combining exceptions?  Yeah, you can't do it.
