I liked Semih, but it was clear he was regressing, perhaps due to injury and lay-off, but nonetheless a fact. Krystic is more skilled, more experienced, and healthier. It is not even close.
The ultimate measure of this deal is how well Jeff Green will fit in. He clearly can play a role on this current squad as a useful off the bench swing guy. But will he be able to become a starter in 2 years, if we are to remain a championship contender? Would he be satisfied staying as a key bench guy for a championship caliber team in 2 years, and take a reduced salary in line with that type of player?
