  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
I read multiple posts in here which concluded that Danny was dumb in trading Perk  and that the Knicks had guaranteed their irrelevance by acquiring Carmelo, Billups and the rest of the crew. How smart were these posts, after the dust settled? I sense that Chicago has also been dismissed as a non-contender. Miami, of course has become a non-factor. Does this mean that it is generally felt that our path to the finals is there for the taking????? Our problem is that we seem to lower our game to the level of our opponents. If this is repeated. Im worried.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

The Bulls are the only team in the East that concern me. It doesn't matter about match-ups. It's a rivalry and they get up for the Cs. Everyone else I'm not concerned about, but the Bulls are a tough one. I hope that the Bulls play the Heat prior to the Celtics in the playoffs. I want the winner of that series to be dead tired when they play the Cs.

If we can get the #1 seed, the heat & bulls will probably have to play each other in the second round. I now realize how important the #1 seed is--we will (in theory) take a lot less of a beating letting those guys beat the crap out of each other while we play Philly, Atlanta, or whoever. I don't want to underestimate the opponent, but Orlando is trending downward quickly--Dwight cannot beat us or many other teams in seven games by himself.

The #2 or #3 seed just makes for such a tougher road than in the past. Finishing with the 1st seed is very important this season.

Bulls are 2-0 vs. The HEAT this year.  You can be assured they don't fear them.  One time they beat them without Noah too.   I worry more about the Bulls than LeBron.  The Bulls like us have five players on the court most of the time not three like MIA.

i hope that the Heat are able to miraculously eliminate the Bulls in the 2nd round tbh. That way, if we get to the ECF, we'll face the Heat and not the Bulls. i think these Bulls are for real and will be harder to beat than the Heat.

my ranking of the East teams:
1. Celtics
2. Bulls
3. Heat
4. Magic/NYK (it's a tie, i can't decide between the two yet)
