Chicago Bulls are within 1 game of the Heat now..

with their win last night aginst the wizards, the bulls are now 1game behind the heat for #2 seed...with the tough schedule coming up for the Heat, facing the Magic, spurs, bulls, lakers....its possible that the Bulls could pull ahead for #2 in the East.

Honestly, im more afraid of the Bulls than the Heat as a celtics fan because they match up alot better with our starters

We've got the best shot at the 1 seed in the east fortunately.

The next five games will determine a lot, because the Bulls/Heat have a tough schedule . Meanwhile the C's play a bunch of okay to bad teams, all without a back to back till the middle of the month.

I want to see the Knicks vs. the Heat in the 1st round.  Let Lebron have to deal with Melo in the 1st round, Deng in the 2nd round and finally Pierce in the third round (if Lebron makes it).

Bulls are playing some very good basketball right now. 

Granted, they tuned up on lowly Washington last night but they've a very good basketball team.

That is because the Bulls are better than the Heat.

It is also why we need to get #1 overall in the East. While we get to matchup with either NYK or ORL, Chicago and Miami are beating up on each other.

I know what you mean. It's hard not to be wary of any team with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh leading the way. Still the Bulls might be just as dangerous. They are well coached and so much more balanced than the Heat.

I like how we match up with Chicago.

We have plus defenders at their most dangerous offensive positions. Noah could be a wildcard against our centers, though. He had Shaq in puddles of sweat last year in the Cavs/Bulls series. Should be said, though, that Shaq did serious damage to Noah in the post. He outweighs him by 100 lbs.

I like Rondo vs. their team. Rose isn't a good defender and Rondo penetration is probably the best way to open up our offense. Boozer and Noah aren't world beaters at protecting the rim. You also have to like KG's length vs. Boozer.

Pierce is in for a tough playoffs with Deng, Lebron, and Artest looming. Probably the 3 best defensive sf's in the league.

Knicks will be hard pressed to catch the Hawks for the 5th seed.  They could do it, but 4.5 is a lot to make up in the time they have to do it and with the teams they are chasing.

The Bulls offense matches up poorly against the C's defense.

(1) Too much ball-handling and one-on-one play from Derrick Rose. As we've seen over the last few years, those type of players are considerably less effective against the C's team defense.

(2) Garnett matches up well with Boozer.

(3) Not enough jump shooting on the wing to space the floor.

If the Celtics hold onto the 1st seed it will help them a ton. Not only because of the obvious home-court, but also the chance of facing both the bulls and heat back to back would not be fun. We all know the biggest obstacle for the Celtics are injuries. Other than that I don't see how they can't bring in Banner 18.

I think the Bulls pass the Heat as they are hot and play D.
