...get Kapono.It seems as if the one thing that has always eluded Danny is the ability to get that pure shooter off the bench.I've always liked JJ Redick, but that's not possible. The fact that Kapono is available is good for Boston. My belief (and I have nothing to base this on) is that he's secretly on the top of Danny's wish list.With Rondo's ability to penetrate, and KG & Shaq posting down low, we need that guy who can spell Ray and provide offense that spot up behind the 3 pt. line and knock 'em down.I hope we get him. Nobody's really talking much about him, but I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up here. If he does that's good news for us.
Jeff Green and Troy Murphy both far better options than Kapono. He would be a last option in my view.When you can put Delonte, Wafer, Green, BBD and Krstic on the floor the need for a shooter goes down. Rebounding is also a need.
Kapono wouldn't sniff the floor. No defense, no rebounding, dumb and hasn't played in awhile. He'd offer less than Michael Finley last season.
