Let him play. Defending the opponent PG, playing off-the-ball offensively. Bradley was out of form at the start of the season, the injury situation hold him back, his defense is NBA ready and he's a solid shooter. Don't ask him to run the offense and he won't embarrass anyone.

bradley has often looked lost on defense and been torched. i don't see what ainge or rivers sees in this kid at all

doc said in the bostonglobe that theyd play delonte if this was the playoffs and they are just being cautious...

I think youll see that alot these last 25games before the playoffs...any small injury that happens, the player will be rested...especially if miami falls behind boston with the tough schedule they are facing

Again -- I don't  buy anything the Celts say about player injuries. Shaq was going to miss a couple games and has been out almost a month. And so on.

I think they sat Shaq out longer because they decided they were better off getting him some extra rest now, so they took advantage of the injury as an opportunity to get him some R and R, and let him rest up for the stretch run.

With West, he is much younger, and has had plenty of rest.  They will get him back in there sooner rather than later.

who's to say they werent resting shaq to get him into game shape for the playoffs if he's going to play a big role?? there was no need to rush him back when they were still winning games without him.

last year has proved that this team absolutely prefers getting healthy for the playoffs rather than risking injury during regular season games...and I see no reason to not believe that is why they are so cautious with their players..especially Delonte and shaq whom look to play important roles in the C's playoff run..

When? He has barely played in the last 2 months.

I think they see tremendous defensive potential. I do. Once he gains some more experience and reputation, he'll be one of the best defenders at his position. If he makes it in the league, depends on the development of his offensive game.

if he can't get any burn now with the Cs low on bodies.....he won't. i don't ever think he will be a player in this league

Maybe he will, maybe he won't.  All that matters now is that he is not ready at the moment.

He shouldn't be playing except in emergencies - I don't think him playing 5-10 minutes in a couple of games during the regular season matters, but I want to sign a 3rd string point-guard for the playoffs or in the case West has a more prolonged injury - because of his current level. It doesn't mean his future level won't allow him to play. Why do you make that correlation? Perkins was even worse than Bradley in his first couple of seasons.

Delonte out tonight with a sprained ankle:

With Nate gone, and West on the mend (once again), seems like Bradley may get some decent minutes.

Just be thankful Williams got moved to Jersey.
