Excellent news. He's as good as his brother-in-law but way more likely to steal minutes from Chalmers.

I think he is another ball dominant player that will add to their offensive woes.

Another LeBron choke wins the game for NYC, last night another good team they didn't beat.  They truly are the bottom feeders of the NBA.

His defense is so bad that I don't think he'd help the heat. He's a better spot up shooter, but is he really that much better than their current PGs?

I second this, he really isnt that much of an upgrade from Chalmers or Arroyo

I would actually be more intimidated if Bibby signed with the Lakers.  The triangle offense would be good for a player like Bibby and his defensive inabilities wouldn't matter because Kobe would take the dominant pg's.

Obviously I'm not rooting for Bibby to go to LA.

I think if he goes to the Heat, it improves our chances of getting Murphy.  Heat would have to open 2 roster spots instead of one.

If Bibby doesn't go to the Heat, why not bring him here?

Or is it Bibby to BOS?

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/wizardsinsider/2011/02/buyout-remains-a-possibility-f.html?wprss=wizardsinsider

Now we all backtrack and talk about his intangibles, and the importance of another veteran in the lockerroom. Also known as "The Sclabrine defense"

His ability to hit clutch threepointers is the only aspect to is game left that would worry me.

But I agree, rather him go to Miami then LA.

Anyone else think Wade will be covering Rondo alot during a 7 game series?  Then Bibby makes more sense since he could keep up with Ray better.

I'd be more worried if TJ Ford was going to Miami.  He gives Rondo fits.

They would never put the ball into his hand enough to do that.

I worry about the PG able to defend Rondo and hit an open three on Miami.

We need to be realistic.  Bibby would be a fool to come here.  In Miami, he could eventually start or at least play meaningful minutes.

Here, he'd be lucky to play 10 mpg in the playoffs.
