..he hadn't rehabilitated his knee so quickly.  He would have been coming back right about now which means he probably wouldn't have drawn any interest from OKC.  Ironically, it was his work ethic that helped get him shipped out of Boston.

Curiously, what will Boston's depth be at center next season?  I know this year still has a few months left, but that once again may have to be addressed this offseason.
We all think we know more than we really do....

Shaq and JO will be back next year.  Krstic is a free agent.

Perkins would probably still be a Celtic if.....
he signed the extension that was offered.

.....and if he didn't injure his "good" knee....he's a risk for OKC short term and longterm because of his injuries.

I was aware of that even though I'm not sure Shaq comes back.  Just saying that Shaq and JO have been MIA most of the season (Shaq spends a lot of time on the bench instead of the floor) and that leaves a glaring hole for next season.

they are saving shaq for the playoffs, no need to wear him down , Danny said he will be back within the next week anyways.

Just as Shaq and JO are a risk for us this and next year.

In response to the fill in the blank .....of the thread topic, I was pointing out that if Perk's durability was not in question, he "probably  would still be a Celtic.

For his sake, I hope he stays healthy, because if he doesn't, his value plummets, and he doesn't get the big payday he has worked so hard for and makes his decision not to accept the Cs extension offer ( a decision on his part I agreed with at the time) a bitter pill to swallow. He deserves better............But I still like the trade.

TP, I also wish a lot of luck and health to Perk, he deserves that big payday.
