That is the opportunity this guy has here.  He can bridge the gap.  I don't think he's the player Lenny would have been, but he has a similar opportunity.
Yup

We might as well throw Reggie Lewis comparisons as well.

But we also have Rondo, so... Len Bias x 2?

Please. Len bias would have been a game changer. Jeff green is a nice player.

Green has no where to go but up in the our eyes. We really have no idea what his ceiling is. Thats what I love about it.

I'm just saying Green has the opportunity to extend the productive life cycle of this Big 3, and be part of the next generation.

Obviously Redz admits that his idea is lofty but I think there are some definite similarities.  The Green being young, athletic, long, and explosive is going to be like having a really good change of pace RB in football I think.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Len bias was a potential franchise player. Jeff green - not so much. I think he will be good, but not muc more than that.

As I said, feel free to shred.  I'll keep dreaming that Green will fill that void.

We shall see.  Looking forward to seeing what he does with the chance.

I totally agree here. Green can provide rest for Ray, Paul, and KG. Delonte can provide rest for Ray and Rondo.

The entire key to this deal is if the O'Neals are healthy enough to be contributors in the play-offs. We need Jermaine to rebound, block shots and score a few hoops and be a post presence on D. We need Shaq for 15-20 minutes a game.

Without those guys, we are not going to win Banner 18.

You do realize who you are trying to talk to here right?

It is a pretty good comparison, especially when you, yourself point out that Green is not the player Bias was, but just the idea is the same.

I love the fact that Ainge has a vision for what he wants this team to be. Too many people are stuck on the old...Change the game or get left behind.
