Green + Kristic = 6'10 average

Perk + Robinson = 6'3.5 average

Just a gift that keeps on giving  :P

Our 2nd unit is now much better rebounding IMo

?          -         Kristic

I highly doubt they even play Nate. Their starting back court they have Westbrook and Sefolosha, and off the bench they have Maynor and Harden. We've seen how ineffective Nate is at the point, so I don't see why OKC would play him at the 1. Not to mention Scotty Brooks is a no-nonsense kind of guy(this isn't to say Doc isn't either), but with the depth they have I can't see him playing too much.

Nate will play, or else all hell will break loose. No vets in OKC, just the young "mobb" as Durant put it yesterday lol.

I think this trade was a slam dunk for OKC. Perk was exactly what they needed and Green was unneeded behind Durant.

Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Ibaka, Perk

with a good bench of Sefolosha (guards Kobe as well as anyone), more size in Mohammad, Collison, and Nate, Cook, Maynor

I mean wow, this team can be scary good. They lost to LAL last year because Green was forced out of position and understandably cannot guard Pau. Now you put Perk on Bynum and Ibaka on Pau and I think they get past LAL.

The Thunder are my pick to win the west this year.

I agree, I personally think Ainge likes the fact that this makes things more difficult for the Lakers. I rather see anyone win except for the Lake Show. Its a win for both sides imo.

I also agree, with perk in the middle and Ibaka, I think the Thunder become a very dangerous team indeed. At leats Ainge traded Perkins into a great situation.

Watch OKC make it to the finals and run us off the court... :)

If we cant make it, Id like to see OKC vs Heat with Durant getting finals MVP..

Green isnt a great rebounder, we already had Delonte and Erden is a better rebounder than Krstic. We could have gotten Anthony Parker to rebound at or near the same clip as Green can.

We now have a scoring second unit. They all can shoot. We are also much more versatile offensively overall. You can insert Green in a small ball lineup with KG at C.

Shaq absolutely has to be healthy in order for our rebounding to stay on par with what it was pre-trade. I dont think in anyway did this trade make us a better rebounding team.

the thunder still aren't beating SA.

the celtics made this trade because they want to be better equipped to handle SA and Miami.

so did all players pass the physicals yet? I have my doubts about Perk and his knees. You never know, OKC nixed a trade for Chandler last year after the physical
