In Street Fighter 2, the final boss is an evil dictator named M Bison.  However, this was not his original name, as some character names were shuffled around before US release.  Which character was originally named M Bison, and why was the change made?

It was Balrog ... but in the American release, they were afraid of getting sued for having an African American boxer named "M. Bison" (get it? "Mike Tyson"?), so they switched his name up with the final boss.

Yup, M Bison was a thinly veiled "Mike Bison" for the boxer.  They worried they'd be sued for infringement by Tyson, so M Bison the boxer became Balrog, Balrog the claw guy became Vega, and Vega the final boss became M Bison.

Can someone TP the man for me please?  I'm still in the 1-hour window.

What 90's arcade fighting game was the predecessor to Mortal Kombat with copious amounts of violence, laughable characters, and removable appendages ?

Time Killers?  I remember it in my local arcade but can't remember if it came first or not.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
This is still open:

What is the best disney video game based on only one movie? What is the best Disney based game for NES? These are not opinion questions. They're absolutes.

I'm going with Duck Tales for #2.

Right species wrong game.

Well it certainly isnt Toy Story for SNES... Man that was probably the hardest game ever, I could never understand what they were asking me to accomplish.

Correct on both counts. It is not Toy Story, and that game was way too hard.

In the original Dead Space, what secret message was hidden in the chapter titles?

Do you mean where you take the first letter of each chapter and it spells out "NICOLE IS DEAD" ?

Best Disney single movie game: I would've accepted either Lion King or Aladdin, but Aladdin would've gotten more TP's.

Best Disney NES game: Darkwing Duck.

What was the first game to introduce the "Rumble Pack", (version required). Still love this game. ;)

Aw man, I remember one of the department stores of my youth (JC Penney? The Fair?) had one of these arcade cabinets sitting all by itself at the front of the store, and I was FASCINATED with it as a youth ...
