I am interested as to posters thoughts on what the rotation will be like going forward.

Do we start Green at the four until we have healthy Shaq or Jermaine to run out there in order to keep Big Baby in the 6th man role he's been successful at?

Do we make Baby a first unit guy who doesn't play much with the second unit?

Do we play Krstic at the 5 to start?

Who will we sign out of the buyouts and will they be immediate rotation players?

I would appreciate people's opinions on this.

My guess is that they will have the same starting lineup Saturday as they had last night with Green and Krstic seeing minutes off the bench. After that, Krstic starts at center until Shaq is "healthy."

I agree somewhat ... Big Baby has already had experience with this team at the five, and I don't see Doc starting either of the new guys, especially if it means putting KG at Center. But I think Big Baby will start until Shaq is ready, or at least for a few games. Say what you want about Glen, but I think he's a better option at Center than Krstic, especially until Nenad gets a feel for this very complicated system.

I think Krstic will start so we can keep Baby in his 6th man role (which he now shares with Green). When Shaq comes back he is the starter again and then when (hopefully it happens) JO comes back Krstic is the third string center, seeing very limited minutes, unless the team wants to keep JO fresh and rest him a lot.

Start Krstic and let him play a similar amount of minutes as Erden got.

Keep BBD in his bench role where he is more successful. Davis will need to play around 30 minutes a night until Shaq returns.

Jeff Green will play a role, minutes and position wise, similar to what James Posey had in 07-08.

Delonte West will take over Nate Robinson's role and Von Wafer will continue to get minutes as a backup two guard.

Agreed, hopefully the O'Neal brothers can finally get healthy in time for the playoffs.

I think Green plays a lot more than Posey did 1. because he is better than posey and 2. because Paul plays (or should play) less minutes than he used to.

another questions for you guys.
is there a deadline for buyouts?
how soon can we see Troy Murphy in green?
(assuming he wants to play for the Celtics)

To play on the playoff roster a player must be bought out before March 1st.
