Nomar trade redux?

Today, I feel like a part of my family was taken from me, just like I did with the Nomar trade.  But, we all know how that worked out.  All we can do is have faith that this is the same kind of calculated gamble that will have the same net affect.  In Ainge I trust.

I think the difference between this and the Nomar deal is that Nomar was kind of a jerk in the clubhouse and was not liked by everyone. There were guys that were glad to see him go. Nomar leaving actually helped the Red Sox chemistry.

I have faith but it is the comlpete opposite. Nomar had to go because everyone hated him.

Everyone love(d) Perk.

If I remember correctly, there was a poll in the clubhouse as to whether or not Nomar should be traded and the majority was "YES".

I think we all know how a poll in the Celtics locker room would have gone...

Ya, didn't mean to imply that the chemistry thing was a similarity, but I'm not as much worried about chemistry as I am talent ... are the C's deep enough at the 5 now?  The Nomar trade was an equally surprising move from a talent perspective, that worked out.
