The original trade in 2007

    Bos sends: Wally, West, Green

Sea/okc sends: Ray Allen, BBD


2011

the C's have Ray Allen,BBD West and Green on the roster

so the trade ends up being :

Bos sends: Perk(with a reconstructed knee), Nate and Wally,Bill Walker, Eddie House
 
Bos gets : Ray Allen, BBD, Jeff Green, Delonte , Kristic, and a possible 2012 lottery pick( 11-15)



Ok please tell me how Danny is not a genius ?

Danny totally owns the league !

Yeah, but remember how this place blew up like a nuclear device when that trade was announced? I seem to recall that the idea of blowing up that 24-win youth movement juggernaut wasn't terribly popular.

Kinda like, well, today.

Can't believe we traded those first-ballot HOFers like Al  Jeff, like Gerald Green, like Jeff Green - oops, maybe not the latter guy, anyway. Some contrived number - PER, ABC, XYZ, whatever - says he stinks.

Whatever happened to that Brickowski guy, anyway? Is he over on the Raptors board? For that matter, is there a Raptors board?

yea I guess it does end up like that, but reacquiring West and Green is a huge part of the 1st trade, that can't be overlooked. Plus the 1st round pick could end up being a late lottery pick, which is where Danny drafts best (Rondo and Big Al were drafted around 15)

Like I said Danny is a really smart guy, I can't see how any Celtics fans don't have confidence in him or want him fired. That's just crazy.
