You guys know how bad the team looks when Rondo goes to the bench.  What happens now that Nate and Daniels is gone?  Delonte imo is a bad ball handler and he always gets hurt.  There is no way we can count on only him behind Rondo.

So, are there any point guards that might get bought out?

Well, it's not like Nate was much of a distributor, so I think Delonte will be an upgrade in that role.  I do agree, though, that we're thin at the position (which seems to be our norm), so ideally we'll pick somebody up.

No idea who that will be.  T.J. Ford will almost definitely get bought out, and Mike Bibby may be (although that has been denied).  Outside of those guys, I'm not sure what the options will be.

I don't know if that's true.  If Delonte is fully healed, he'll handle the bulk of the minutes.

And let's face it, playing a shooting guard like Wafer or even Ray Allen at the 1 wouldn't be much of a playmaking downgrade from Nate.

Tony Allen was Celtics Backup Point-Guard for most of playoffs last season. Celtics upgraded with Delonte West. Not an Issue. Heck Avery Bradley got some experience in the D-League

I'm worried about this too.

Delonte can surely handle the duties, but what if he can't go.

Bradley for 4 minutes each half we can probably survive in the regular season, but not in the playoffs.

We now basically NEED guys to get right, where before the today it would only make us that much better.

Delonte is our backup PG, and a real good backup at that. He's played one game since his freak accident wrist injury. He'll be playing 20+ minutes a night come playoffs.

NO we don't need to acquire another guard. DWest is good enough, we also have Bradley and at least 2months to get them up to speed IF needed.
