So, with the trades to OKC and CLE, this is what we have:

PG: Rondo/West/Bradley
SG: Allen/Wafer
SF: Pierce/Green/Daniels*
PF: Garnett/Baby/JO*
C:  Shaq*/Krstic

*injured

Just trying to make sense of all this. Daniels has to be done for the season, and hopefully Shaq and JO become healthy to play again.

We obviously need another C, and assuming Daniels is gone, we'd have up to 3 roster slots open for potential buyouts.

I think we can mentally pencil in either Rasheed or Murphy at this point.  It's the only thing that makes sense.

Chris Mannix seems quite sure that Murphy is Boston-bound.

Didn't Marquis get dealt to Sacramento for cash considerations? So that would be another roster spot open.

Gone: Perk, Nate, Marquis, Luke, Semih
Added: Jeff Green, Krstic

That leave 3 spots open. Could it be Murphy, Sheed, and another wing? We could still get #18 with this line up, I think.

Should be interesting.

I'm concerned; however, if at least one of the O'Neal brothers is healthy, we should be fine.

I also can't believe that Danny would give away Semih and Luke if he wasn't 100% sure he wasn't getting a couple other big men via free agency.

Love Jeff Green! Was bummed that we gave him up earlier. He will give Doc amazing flex w/ an awesome small unit and more than adequate backup for Paul.

Great Second Unit

Delonte
Wafer
Green
BBD
JO/Kristic/Sheed/Murphy

Like playing Green with Garnett at Center for a up and down unit.

I don't know if this is the venting thread but I just got up here in Au.

What on earth? I really don't like these moves.

Can someone please explain to me the Erden/Luke to CLE for a 2nd rounder trade? I just cannot understand that.

U G H. ugh.

If we look at it this way...

IN:
Jeff Green
Nenad Krstic
Troy Murphy
Solid Wing
Someone else (I'm thinking Sheed)

OUT:
Kendrick Perkins
Nate Robinson
Semih Erden
Luke Harangody
Marquis Daniels (who is likely out of the year)

We would be a better team today than we were yesterday. Now this requires us getting those bigs and extra wing. If we don't get any impact players in those spots then we are not better today and have hurt our chances. I think we end up with Murphy/Sheed/Butler and that means I think we are better off now, but we can't figure it out until they fill the spots.
