Please be a joke.  How are you gonna break up a starting 5 that has never lost a playoffs series?  We need size not JEFF GREEN.

There were a ton of small simple moves that could've made our team a lot better, instead we go and make it worse?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Still waiting on confirmation, but while Jeff Green provides a nice bench piece, Perk for Krstic is just, just...it's a big, big downgrade.  Yeesh.  Get better soon, O'Neals!

Wow this is shocking. Jeff Green is better than every other wing we were looking at. But trading Perk sure is a surprise. If we can get Murphy, I think we become a better team with this deal, if not and the O'neal's can't play, we're pretty much done. Delonte, Wafer, Green,Baby,JO/Semih/Murphy is a fantastic bench with Shaq starting.

Danny must have known for sure he wasn't going to resign Perk for him to make this deal.

If we were gonna trade Perk we couldn't have at least got Prince or Battier?

Couple of good points here - if there's some (informal obviously) arrangement to bring Murphy here, the downgrade up front isn't that severe.  And I really have to think we weren't prepared to pay whatever Perk was asking to make this deal.

But, Perk...Perk wasn't my favorite player but I liked him with the fewest reservations of anybody on the team.  As hard as he worked to come back too.

From the other side, this makes OKC pretty dangerous.  Ibaka was starting to make Green obsolete at the 4, and they've now got a very good, very young starting 5.  They can fill some of that power vacuum in the West now.

Who cares if Danny wasn't gonna resign Perk?  He never was.  All that matters is how this move affects our current chance at a championship.

Green is a massive upgrade for the bench.

I'm not passing judgment till I see if Danny can bring in another big.

We still don't know how everything shakes out this year and next, but this sure seems to be one more indication that Danny's putting a lot of his eggs in the D12 basket, doesn't it?

Jamario Moon would've been a massive upgrade over NOBODY.  Doesn't mean we had to downgrade at our most important position, AND give up Nate.

Kind of, I mean Jeff Green is a RFA. So he might very well be looking for an extension which would kill our chances of that.
