I'd much rather stick with what we have then pick up Moon and/or Powe.
If Daniels can't play this season, which seems likely at this point, he'll almost certainly be waived at one point, since he's an expiring contract that will just occupy a roster spot. There is really no point in "sticking with him".

I realize but I guess what I was trying to say is they should find better options then these 2. I know Moon is a body but we don't need a body we need a player.

I'd much rather stick with what we have then pick up Moon and/or Powe. Don't get me wrong now I was a fan of Powe when we was here and was sad when I noticed that he was buried on the Cavs bench but I don't think that he is the player that he was and I wouldn't want to give up on Luke for a player who has had multiple knee surgeries.

Moon has faded fast as a player and whatever he was good at before I think he isn't good at it anymore. I mean we can sign him and hope he produces for us more than Michael Finley did but I don't see it.

Now if Rip is bought out (I doubt it but IF he is) I'd cut Bradley to make room for him. I mean he's a good kid and a good defender and all but why we drafted him is still beyond me. We have Rondo... our PG of the future and we kept Nate and brought back West... did we really need a fourth PG? I'm sure another team will pick Bradley up.

Even ESPN said that the Celtics problem with trades is that they don't really have any assets anyone wants so buyouts might be our only hope.

There is no way we cut Bradley. He is a guaranteed contract with value. Harangody would likely be cut or Quis bought out.

Luke's is also guaranteed just for less money. According to hoopsworld.

So I'd buyout Daniels to make it work.

If Powe was healthy, we could sign him, making Baby available in trade. But that is too shaky. Plus Baby has obviously left the station in the old Powe BBD debate. So forget that thought.

Powe isn't healthy, he no longer has any explosion.

With RIP being 3 years younger than Ray, wouldn't it be ideal if RIP joined Boston to take on either the Ginobli 6th man role or even Starter next year.
Ray might be in excellent shape, but I could see RIP/Ray making a great twosome taking turns at SG

As for Moon, only if we've ran out of better options.
And Powe is he's healthy. I would do this trade -
Powe and Parker for Erden Luke and Bradley
Can't stop, Rondo!

Why would we bench Ray who is a way better player? RIP would be perfect in the 6th man role though.

Will RIP still be in the league after the C's are done with their run after 2012? Who knows.
