Is anyone else surprised that Rondo was not one of the options for fans to vote for in the skills challenge? Did he not want to be involved in it or just overlooked. I don't know why you would not want him in the contest.

I guess he was invited, but turned it down.

Quote
The NBA wanted Rajon Rondo in this weekend's Skills Challenge in Los Angeles, but the point guard turned down the invitation.

"Maybe when I don't make the game," Rondo said when asked if he would ever consider participating in the event. "I wouldn't do both."

When asked specifically if he had been invited by the league, he hestiated before relenting: "Yeah, they did."

So maybe in 15 years?? I wonder why he doesn't want to do it. Maybe just wants to chill out for a few days

He's probably afraid of getting embarrassed at the jump shot part  ;D

Yeah, like he got embarrassed playing H-o-r-s-e at the all-star game?

I know this is probably just a joke, but shooting jumpshots during the game is a lot different then doing something like this. I've seen videos of him hitting jumper after jumper in practice, so I don't think skill is an issue here.

Just look at the HORSE competiton last year. (like BballTim brought up)
