The way he has been playing trade Nate for any 2020 2nd rounder and then we have an open spot!

Cut Marquis and sign him be a coach or something. He deserves a ring, I honestly belive without him we would not be top seed in the East. He is a major contributor.......or cut Luke

If he signed a one year contract I'd say cut Jermaine O'Neal.  But he'll be healthier than he's been in years with a higher pain threshold next season.  Hopefully the GMs figure this stuff out about him in 2013

I'd say if there's any cuts,  cut Gody because he probably won't get picked up.  He could use some NBDL time.

What makes you so sure? A wee after the injury and he is already sitting on the sidelines of games, I believe the C's when they expect him to be out until the playoffs begin, its not like he broke a bone or anything.

This team is a playoff or bust team for the Big 3 era. As it is now, we'll be either a lottery team or 2nd round exit at best.
So what's the point of keeping Bradley and Luke other than building them as trade assets? Package them both in a deal with a draft pick to a team with cap space and roster spots for 1 of their draft picks. Maybe take on one of their dead weights. Waive Daniels b/c IF he comes back, he'll be a cautious soft player like Scal was with this concussion issues.

How about http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4jbcr69

Basically it's a Quis for Dahntay. DJ is a solid defender that can slash like Quis, except he's healthy haha. Indy get a free draft pick and uses trade exceptions on Luke and/or Bradley - That opens up 2 roster spots. Lure in Troy Murphy after the deadline, then RIP or Kapono
Can't stop, Rondo!

I cut Harangody.  Even if we can land another 3, I still like having the chance to get Marquis back, even in limited capacity.  Quite frankly, in a series against Miami, we could see both Pierce and his backup get in foul trouble against LeBron.  Having a reliable 3rd option could actually be important.

While I like Luke, his ceiling is a reliable backup player.  That's nice, but not something we'll be kicking ourselves over losing this year or in five years.  Avery Bradley has a greater chance of being a bust, but also a greater chance of making us regret cutting him.  Since neither is much use this year, I cut Luke.

I'm not sure Wafer has really picked it up and Gody looks good in the limited minutes he gets. If anyone I guess JO or Nate. I feel like I haven't seen JO since it was pre-season. And Nate just hasn't played well at all. It sucks cause they good be a pretty good package in a deal but have proved nothing over the year for any team to say yes we will do this.

It's only his spinal cord; you the know what you depend on to move your arms and legs.  Broken bones heal; spinal cords when damaged to an extent cause permanent paralysis.  Marquis can physically run and shoot a basketball right now; what he can't do is risk excessive impact to the area.  It's going to be tough for a doctor to clear him and say you're fine to resume in a contact sport with 200-275lb men running around at full speed.

If Marquis can't come back you just cut him. He'll still get him money and Boston gets back their roster spot.

This.

I wish I could believe this, but he has always been slow to recover from injuries, and this is about as scary an injury as there is, particularly since he has a history of it.  The chances of him coming back, and being able to contribute are extremely low at this point.

I still believe JO will be a big part of this team in the playoffs.  They are doing everything they can to get him healthy for the stretch, and I think they have been extra cautious with him because of that.

There are certain matchups (particularly LA) where his mobility, length, and mid range shooting will be incredibly valuable, so I think they would be hessitant to give him up.

Trouble is Jermaine is hurt and seriously damaged goods.  A lot depends on Shaq is going to be ready then Jermaine is expendable in all honesty.  Sure he would help against the Lakers but right now all he is helping is the lumberjacks who provide the pine for the benches.

I doubt they cut Bradley,  I've read they are really high on his potential.  Harangody is obvious.  Von Wafer while coming on strong recently is expendable.  Erden is expendable too.

I actually see Nate as a dealing piece to acquire someone.  I doubt they cut him until Delonte can stay durable enough to come back and folks that is an issue presently.
