Did anyone notice that when Allen got the record that Pierce never clapped or seemed to be very happy (smiling).

Then last night the ball was presented to Allen and KG, Rondo were there clapping for him. In the back you could see Paul just walking around and not clapping.

That just seemed strange. I know I am looking too much into it because he was sick and all. I just think he could have clapped like everyone else.

Could he be distracted with other stuff?
Family, maybe even Shaq's injury. Since that might be a big loss for us.

Thoughts?

If you know you're making a big deal out of nothing, why did you post it? You were correct. How do you know Paul didn't already congratulate  Ray?

For what it's worth, I do remember PP being a bit more serious at these times.  That said, I also noticed him make some subtle gestures in support of Ray.  So you might want to recheck the video.

Watch the beginning of the video here...you can see the whole team applauding..including PP.

Thank you for the video. I see him clapping. The weird thought came more from the day ray broke it and how serious he was (FLU) and the lack of clapping then. Which I thought happened at the ceremony. I was wrong.

I didn't notice Pierce and whether he clapped or not, but if he didn't, I would assume it's because he had his "game face" on.  We were playing against the Lakers in a rivalry game at the time, and Pierce might not have wanted to break concentration.

I think Ray and Paul have a good relationship.

this looks like a case of reading into something that isnt there.  non-story, no issue.

Pierce rose both his arms and got off the bench after Ray hit the three.  Pierce also gave Ray by far the biggest hug at the C's bench during the end of quarter intermission; though it didn't quite equal the hug from Flo.

What were you watching?

Is this quite possibly the worst post ever?

I know I'm not a moderator or anything and that I've said my share of bad things on here before, but is this really needed even after Roy told posters to knock it off.

We're all Celtics fans here so I don't see why we need to be knocking other peoples post's.

Only on celticsblog do we have threads about players not looking happy enough and imply it indicates deep meaning...

Nonissue ray and Paul are tight. And ray is gonna crush Paul in the three point contest
