Today's Game vs the Heat.

In the 3rd quarter, Rondo is trying to look into the Heat huddle. This is an important game and not the all-star game where stupid antics like this might happen.

What was the point of this? To get in their heads? It was totally childish and it looked like Ray Allen went over to him to tell Rondo to knock it off.

This is the kind of stuff that I would hate if an opposing player did it the Celtics.

Do it on the court and not in stupid antics like this.

lol....<sigh> gotta love celticsblog

Get back on track, please.  There's no need for name-calling or personal attacks, and mocking or questioning somebody's fanhood aren't allowed, either.

I didn't really see any name calling that wasn't well deserved. This thread is just blatantly moronic.
What Rondo did was awesome. He's a competitor and knew he needed to take over the game.

To be clear:  name calling isn't allowed, even if it is "well deserved".  Don't call somebody else's ideas "blatantly moronic" again, period.

Wow I love when people make a big deal about something minor and something that our team is doing. I don't care if its a legal huddle with an actual timeout and 1.3 secs left on the clock game 7 of the Finals. I would still have laughed as much as I did at it. I loved it and it was one of the funniest things I have seen during an NBA game. People say for Rondo to grow up but I say for them to grow up. Rondo has lead us all year to win after win. He has done this by sharing and getting everyone else to share even more then usual. I would never go against someone that gives there blood and sweat for me as a fan just because i think something is "inappropriate"

I thought that while classless for Rondo to do that - for me personally I LOVED it.....

In a big game like this......with the chips down...multiple Boston players hurt....MIA smelling blood in the water....

Rondo does a classless move, and I love it!

It's the spur-of-the-moment stuff like this that gets into player's heads. By now, the Green and White are imprinted on MIA's collective psyche.

It's mental for MIA now...and that oftentimes is the hardest hurdle to overcome.

That - and an impetuous, silly PG, named Rajon.

Keep doing your thing, Rajon!!!

Just not all the time ;D

wahhhhhhh

wahhhh? I guess you must be one of those people that love showboating and stupid stuff that has nothing to do with the game.

I guess you're one of those people that nitpick at things that aren't really that big of a deal...

Rondo is just trying to get under their skin, same thing KG does on just about every play

I agree. I loved every bit of it! I bet Lebron will be dreaming of Rajon tonight!

I think it is classless to have an illegal huddle. Rondo had every right. And it was hilarious.  ;D

It seems like after every game, some impotent fan comes on this board and shows the rest of us why we dont take him seriously.

Support your team, no matter what they are doing, through thick and thin.

Stop being so [dang] soft, Shaq would be shaking his head at how soft some of you guys can be about situations.

"OMG RONDO IS SNEAKING INTO THEIR HUDDLE! WAHHHHHHHH! HE ISNT BEING A SAINT! WAHHHHHHH! IM SO SOFT AND SENSITIVE I DONT LIKE COMPETIION BECAUSE I WANT TO KNIT AND PLAY CROCKET INSTEAD! WAHHHHHH"

No. I will never support any team no matter what they are doing. If I really don't like something I won't support it.

That said, I saw nothing wrong with what Rondo did. It made me laugh.
Peace through Tyranny

I respectfully disagree with the notion that Rondo's actions were foolish.

It was an illegal huddle, Rondo knew it and this was his way of pointing it out to the officials, (who should have been on top of it, but because it was two of their "Golden Boys", they decided to look the other way). I have absolutely no problem with what Rondo did ... in fact, it's the kind of thing I'd probably do myself, and I got a kick out of it. ;)
