TPs for everyone who posted before me saying that was HILARIOUS and disagreeing with this thread.

As noted, there was no timeout so all was fair. Also, it's a home game. Its funny and does get under the Heat's skin. Great move Rondo. Cynical but a mastermind move
Can't stop, Rondo!

Today's Game vs the Heat.

In the 3rd quarter, Rondo is trying to look into the Heat huddle. This is an important game and not the all-star game where stupid antics like this might happen.

What was the point of this? To get in their heads? It was totally childish and it looked like Ray Allen went over to him to tell Rondo to knock it off.

This is the kind of stuff that I would hate if an opposing player did it the Celtics.

Do it on the court and not in stupid antics like this.

There was no time out on the floor, the Heat shouldnt be having a huddle anyway. If the Heat are trying to get a huddle together then Rondo has every right to go over and see whats going on, neither team was called to their specific benches. To call this a "stupid act" is in fact a stupid act.

Where Rondo was foolish IMO was not passing out to Pierce on for the three with under a minute left when he took the jumper.

I too thought it was pretty funny.

Why is this a big deal to you?  I think it was great!  This was Rondo basically saying that we are not going to give you an inch.  It was a huddle that was NOT during a timeout - Rondo is allowed to be anywhere on the floor - even if its in the middle of the opponent's huddle.

Get back on track, please.  There's no need for name-calling or personal attacks, and mocking or questioning somebody's fanhood aren't allowed, either.

I thought it was funny. Like JVG said it was like the lil brother eavesdropping on his big brothers convo. And if he was trying to get into their heads it worked so....

I thought it was kinda foolish until someone said it wasn't a timeout. Gotta love Rondo getting under their skin  ;D
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Can we get a negative TP button?
To quote Homer

I agree with you in theory Marge. In theory communism works. In theory.

If there was such a button some of us here would have about negative 500 TPs and it would just be awkward.

I did too.

NBA is a player driven league. I'm happy to be a fan of team that wears it's emotions on it's sleeve.

I really enjoyed Rondo's demeanor today. KG, Pierce, and Ray have made a career from having ice-water flowing through their veins.

It's good to see Rondo with this cutthroat attitude and dominate defensively/offensively.
