Pistons get: Nate Robinson, Glen Davis, Jermaine O'Neal, Luke harangody and first round pick
Celtics get: Tayshaun Prince, Tracy McGrady and Ben Wallace.

Why for Pistons? They are a team in transition and those 3 players arent in their future. They get young PF in BBD and draft pick...can send Nate somewhere in separate deal and cut JO

Why for Celtics? Word is C's would resign only one of Perk and BBD. I think Perk is more important and Prince is the best player we can get for BBD. Perfect sub for Pierce and can also play the 4 where we go small (ala Posey 2008). T-Mac is solid ballhandler and can back-up both guard positions and Ben Wallace is still very good rebounder and defensive speciallist.
And we open up a roster spot for some buyout candidat or Sheed who's very tight with Ben and Prince from his title days in Detroit

Rondo/West/T-Mac/Bradey
Allen/T-Mac/West/Wafer
Pierce/Prince/Daniels (if healthy)/T-Mac
Garnett/Sheed/Prince/Wallace
Perkins/Shaq/Wallace/Sheed/Erden

Come playoff Erden, Bradley and Wafer inactice,
Backcourt: Rondo, Ray, Delonte, T-Mac
SF: Pierce, Prince and Quis
Bigs: Garnett, Perk, Shaq, Wallace, Sheed

He's there only for matching salary...would be released SOP...maybe C's send some cash to help buyout.

Prince is an expiring contract, as are Ben and T-Mac.  No way those only bring back one of the lowest 1st round picks out there.

I think he'd fit, though, and T-Mac as well.

Ben signed minimum deals to play in Detriot.  He might not want to be traded.

JO can't just be "cut" he would have to be bought out which will be very expensive.  Way too expensive for Detroit to have interest in it.

They can get way more for those quality players

Doubt they want to take Nate or JO back or really BBD either. They already have Greg Monroe, who is younger and probably has a higher ceiling. For Nate they have a back up in Will Bynum, and nobody wants to trade for JO. Harangody would sit the bench and most likely the pick will be a late 1st rounder. And in return the Pistons give up 3 good players with expiring contracts. Doubt they would go for it.
