Apparently, OK City is looking to deal him for a big man. Is there any way we could go get him? I've always like him. He's perfect at the SF position: he can shoot and is a great defender/rebounder.

Just another trade idea.

i thought about him to. Maybe Big Baby plus something and we can get him but he is expiring and he will ask a lot of money next season and we will not be able to sign him ... i think

Well OKC is looking for a big man... Do we have a legit Big man to offer? I'd say no. I think OKC means they are looking for a star big man, they aren't just going to be giving a young talent like Jeff Green away for a player like Davis, who isn't nearly as good.

If Perk had been healthy enough the whole season, maybe they would do it.

But the Celtics would not.

They are not trading Green to get Davis.

Unless you've got some compromising photos of Sam Presti, I'd say there's no chance of this happening.

Green has way more potential than BBD; OKC would not do this trade.  Also, trading BBD for a SF just creates another hole on this roster.

The C's are not active in the trade market because they have pieces they don't want to move, and holding the 2nd best record overall they are not looking for a major shakeup; and the pieces they are willing to move have little to no demand.

I don't see anyone giving up a star big man for Jeff Green. Not that that means they'd take BBD for him...

If he weren't injured I would say Semi and a future pick

You could have two uninjured Semis and two future picks and they still probably say no.

He's not a great defender/rebounder, especially at PF. Since we already have Pierce manning the SF position I don't see why we'd give up anything for him.

Yeah it's lowball offer but I think people here are overvaluing Jeff Green. He is not a starting PF or SF in this league. If they are looking for a C in exchange they can't expect a starting caliber one.

I'd love to have him on the team, but he's a RFA and OKC values him highly. The C's won't want to pay him either. So there isn't a realistic way to get him on this team.

He is the starting F on a team that is 33-18, leading their division.

As a starting F, he is averaging 15 points a game.

And that is while starting out of position.  The only reason he is a PF is because they have Durrant.  On most any other team, he is a starting SF.

^ I thought their frontcourt was Durant-Ibaka-Collison

Jeff Green plays most of the PF minutes. Ibaka comes in and plays some C and some PF.
