Also, agree 100% that there is no reason to whine and cry right now.

Nobody here cares if we win 62 games or 58, and don't give me that nonsense that we can't beat the Heat in a 7 game series without HCA. Miami *has no* HCA. We can win 2 games there in a playoff series.

And the Lakers aren't going to be top seed either. So let's suck it up and remember that it's a long haul to the Finals.

I hear ya. TP.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
anybody who thinks the Spurs are gonna beat this Laker team in the playoffs is totally wishful thinking.  What answer do they have for Kobe again??  That's a 6 game laker win.  We need to worry about finding back ups for Pierce and or Allen.  Foul trouble will happen against Lebron and Wade too.  Kinda wish Tony Allen were still here.  Guess that extra year and 3 million was too much for Danny. Sunday scares me,  alot.

Spurs are talented as hell. Don't underestimate them. Also they have a better coach.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

This team is tired, clearly. You can't beat the #Lakers without having a relatively healthy roster.

Sunday is going to be brutal having to see the king strutting around in victory

i would like to avoid the bulls in round 2 and have the magic. plus home court vs miami would be huge.

Also on my trade sign sheed. Could use another 3 point shooter also Chuck hayes is a good player undersized PF like BBD more of a inside player.

Delonte can't come back sooner..

Danny should seriously consider adding a backup SF asap. No point waiting for Marquis...homecourt advantage is very important...we can't expect them to go on a similar playoffs run like last year.

Gotta agree with monk here. We are a team in dire need of some bench help. I know, we thought we picked it up during the offseason, but we got some injury plagued guys to sit and be cheerleaders (or, just sit in their comfy new homes in Boston instead, and watch the games from there).

I'll take either Corey Maggette or Corey Brewer. Really good offensive player in Maggette, Skiles likes to play guys that focus on Defense and so he's been underused with the Bucks. When he has played, he still looks like the same Maggette that has slashed and scored, and gotten to the line.

Brewer would bring more of a defensive mentality, wouldn't be bad, and has a developing offensive game as well. My first choice would be Maggette.

This team needs players so badly and they have no means to acquire what they need. Such a sad fate

I did not realize that the Celtics lost the title tonight. I think this is a low point of the season for them. They played poorly from the last 4 minutes of the 1st half on.

Just finished watching the game.

That's the best you got Lakers? haha

Took to the brink against a depleted C's team. C's would have rolled if the situations were reversed.
