T-Wolves are looking to move Brewer.

why not Avery Bradely, Semi Erden, Luke, and wafer and a this years first for Brewer.

I don’t know how that will work roster space wise for the wolves but it seems fair for both teams. With brewer not being a part of they long term plan they will likely let him walk after this season

Avery has the potential to develop into a nice 2 next to Rubio (if he ever comes over), Semi is a nice off the bench big man with up side and Luke has shown signs of solid rotation player.

The Cs gain length and athleticism on the wing, and a player the same age as rondo who can run the floor. With the injury to Daniels they need a guy to spell pierce and ray, they would need to sign him to a tony allen like contract.

The Cs would be left with 3 open roster spots, they could look into Sheed for a late season push, sign tiny gallon or DeShawn Sims out of the D-league and look for a vet pg/sg on waivers or F/A to fill out the roster (or wait to see if luke/wafer get cut)

At this point we can't afford to give up on Erden.   He has played major minutes due to injury.   I doubt we'd part with him.  Not that Erden is all world, he isn't but he is big and plays hurt.

I don't think you have to give up that much to get Corey Brewer.

He looks to be on his way out of Minnesota (Beasley, W.Johnson and M.Webster ahead of him) ... either via a trade or free agency this summer.

A deal of Avery Bradley for Corey Brewer might get it done. An additional asset of Luke Harangody or a future second rounder would likely put the deal over the top.

Giving up way too much. Brewer's value is not very high. He's going to be a FA this summer and they don't care to sign him. No one is going to give them multiple pieces of value for him, much less a 7 footer who doesn't suck. I'm also not sure Bradley is a fit for them.

But considering Kahn's odd tendencies, I could see a deal involving Brewer and Telfair for Nate and Wafer.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4etqcxj

They're not getting jack for Telfair on his own, and Nate could be a nice addition for them as a 2 guard off the bench / back-up PG when they move Flynn (which they will). They also seem to want to stockpile shooting around Love, and Wafer and Nate are the two best shooters in this deal.

From a cap perspective, the only way a Brewer deal makes sense is if includes Baby (not happening), Quisy (also unlikely), Nate (possible) or JO (good luck).

we have to include the package i proposed for the trade to work under the cap rules, however i agree that its alot and maybe the pick shouldnt need to be added.

As for Semi i agree id hate to lose him but for brewer it would be worth it (especially if sheed would rejoin the team)

I also would give up Semi, for brewer because of the daniels question mark. If he cant come back this season we go into the playoffs with
        KG,baby,perk,shaq,semi,luke at 4/5
        ray,pierce,nate,west(of injury),wafer,bradely a  2/3
                nate,west,and bradely can't guard the 3

this lack of perimeter size worries me come playoff time

yep -- unfortunately. tho i wonder if Danny would give up Bradley for Brewer. maybe under the circumstances, but i bet he's pretty enthused by his potential to be an impact bench defender / slasher.

amazed i'm saying this but i don't think we can give up semih. our other bigs (aside from perk) have to many health concerns and we very well could end up with weeks on end with out a back up center available.
that said, i'd love to grab brewer but i don't think minny would give up brewer for bradley, he has far more value than that. maybe, just maybe they would take a package(luke, nate and bradley?) but i think they get more elsewhere.

I like Bradley’s potential, but 1/2s are the easiest player to find in the NBA. every year there are 6'1-6'3 guys who aren’t really point guards that get drafted late first or second round and are legit nba players.

also don't think they'll trade brewer until this melo nonsense gets finalized, which will likely be on the eve of the deadline, and i'd bet will involve the wolves.

I'm really quite high on Semih, post-surgery, in the coming years.  I think he's their third most valuable building block after Rondo and Perk, at worst tied with Baby.  And of those, he's one of only two whose contract isn't expiring.

I actually watch the T-Wolves games.  Brewer stinks.  He reminds me of TA in that he has exceptional physical skills, but is too much of a dunce to use them.

If anyone really wants him, he'll be a vet min player for the rest of his career as soon as his rookie deal is over.

Brewer doesn't have a brain in his head.

Horrible trade ideas.

I totally agree. Bradley for Brewer straight up may do it. Add Luke and its a slam dunk.
