I can't believe that I dropped money to go see Ray "TRY" to tie and break the record in Charlotte.  What a freaking joke!!  Ray had NO intention of tying or breaking that record last night!!  Was his mother even at the game??  Doubtful!!!  Of course he wanted to break it in Boston vs. the hated Lakers, but that cost me and my son a bit of history.

I watching as he NEVER attempted another three after coming within one of the record.  Ray, VERY uncharacteristically, took tons of 15-17 footers from that point forward!!  He would actually catch the ball behind the line and with his quick release, he could have shot 2 to 3 attempts, but refused to even try one.

I NEVER like when anyone, refs or the GREAT Ray Allen, tries to manipulate our wonderful game.

If you were there, it was SO very obvious.  If you taped the game, watch it and you will see.

Disgusted for myself and my 12-year-old son,

"Dropped money?" Dude its Charlotte. When i saw the C's play the Bobcats in Charlotte last year they practically gave me tickets to go see the game, and the stadium was still nowhere near full... Plus, are you really complaining about being lucky enough to go to a Celtics game?

Celtics fans: The only people I know who would accuse a game's leading scorer of trying not to score.
Actually you are the first person to say anything about Ray not trying to score.  Hey, Bird even Bird did things like telling everyone he was going to bank in a left handed three, and attempting it.  Things like beating McHale's scoring mark on purpose.  It doesn't mean he didn't want to win, but sometimes there is more going on than we can see.

Of course Ray was trying to win and score, but I don't know why it's so far fetched that he would do it a little bit different stylistically in one half of one game.

I saw nothing stylistically different. Ray has been creating that 15-17 jumper off the bounce for the better part of 2 years in the Cs offense.
