I honestly don't expect either back this year. Time for Danny to go get a small forward

Jamario Moon, any possibility whatsoever?
They don't seem to value him over there in Cleveland.

I think they'd give him up for a second rounder and some cash.

I understand the worry, but not the expectation.  You can't know enough about Quis' injury to expect that he won't be back.  At least acknowledge that a tendency to expect the worst is filtering into your comments.

That said, I'll agree that it's probably wise for DA to be on the phone as we write.

We're fine. Daniels is not a difference maker.

I don't think so, generally speaking when Marquis is out there in 3 different posistions, he doesn't hurt us, plays good d and is a glue guy.  Maybe not a force on any one thing but he does all things well.  SF is our weakest posistion, PP backup is now Von Wafer (thankfully much improved since early season) and maybe Luke against bigger slower sf (5 minutes only).  I think if danny thinks Marquis is gone for the season we could see one of our few trade chips gone: nate or semih, everyone else is too important, injured or we can't get much of a return.

Trade for Tony Allen.

You'll change your opinion after you watch Wafer backing up the Captain for two straight months.

Can you imagine Wafer trying to guard LeBron, Deng etc.? I see PP playing a lot of minutes because of this injury.

Are you comparing Lebron to Deng?

I think most teams are going to have a hard time finding a back up player to guard the best player in the NBA. Luckily PP will be getting the majority of those minutes...and frankly, for players like Deng who are very athletic, but not too strong, I think Delonte will do a decent job. We have amazing depth. It's just too bad to see one of our guys go down.

No, I was just giving examples of taller and stronger SFs that Wafer might have to defend now.

You're talking about either Stephane Lasme or Tony Gaffney, two guys I was hoping we would keep before they were cut for exactly this reason.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
