I think if you're a fan of basketball, you will appreciate this, even if he played for your arch-rival.

Leeeettttt me get this straight. The guy had cancer and they still didn't give him a statue?  What does a man have to do?

If Kobe gets one before him if I'm Kareem I'm not talking to the Lakers any more and signing on as a special consultant of the Celtics and wearing Celtics gear 24/7

Wow LA is stupid.  He's a top 4 player all time.  Better than West and Magic.

Kobe doesn't even deserve to look at Kareem.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think Danny Ainge should capitalize on this ASAP and hire him as a big man coach.

Just give it a year Kareem?  See what happens?
