If you were in his shoes, who would you run with our 4 all stars during the All Star Game? To me, no brainer: Dwight Howard. Give him a taste of what it is like to play with a real PG in Rondo. Might swing him to sign with Celtics when he becomes a Free Agent.  At the end of this season he can opt out, correct??

Absolutely -- Dwight Howard -- give them an extended run together.

Let him get a feel for how much fun it would be to play with Rajon Rondo and the Big Three.

So with that being said - KG and Ray may not even be here. Paul and Rondo will, though.

In the event that Dwight does in fact choose us, I'd hope that KG would consider coming back in 2012. I don't think Ray would be hard to convince, but KG?

Absolute no brainer.  And you run them together as much as you can.  If I'm him, I even play them all together to the point where the media starts to question these alterior motives.  Because Doc can respond with his classic laugh and then "Haha, that's just ridiculous.  My guys all wanted to play together and I needed to put a center out there with them."

Think about what goes on in Dwight's head:  If he wants to contend and he goes out there with these 4 guys and competes at the level of the West All-Stars then there is no way this team doesn't compete for an NBA title.

Dwight doesn't belong on this team. He has a loser and baby mentality. No mental toughness. I don't want him.

A year ago I thought that, too.

This year? The man has grown. He smiles a lot, sure, but he has improved his offensive game. He's no Olajuwon yet, but he has certainly worked on that aspect and it's starting to show.

A year with KG and the tradition of the Celtics? Dwight would be ok.

I think KG would definitely come back and attempt to contend if the C's landed a guy of Howard's quality.

Only a lack of cap space could prevent that, he'd have offers for much more than the minimum.

I still think Dwight would just enjoy getting post entry passes from Rondo. That one aspect of Rondo's game would make his life a lot easier.

You're crazy.  Do you not want championships?  Because that's an odds on favorite for 2013 Finals

No one - just to prove that our best 4 could play their best 5 to a draw.

Rondo and Howard on the same roster -- that team will shoot 65% from the line... Ouch.
