Boston is cold, boring, and has a small arena. Not a much of a surprise they haven't hosted an ASG.I love Boston, and the C's of course. But wouldn't you rather go to Miami, Orlando, LA, Phoenix, etc.. before a cold city like Boston?

So the league probably just wants to spread the wealth.
We dont even celebrate the 14th of February, we celebrate AS weekend.

Basically the ASG has become the Super Bowl, just on a smaller scale.

Boston also showed at Fenway it can do all-star games.

Boston also showed at Fenway it can do all-star games.Except the baseball all-star game was in July. You're asking to stage one of your biggest events in a northern city (that isn't NYC) in the middle of February. There's little doubt that Boston has the ability to host it. The issue is whether the league would want to do it here based on their recent track history in regards to ASG.Although Philly had it not too long ago so who knows.
1. You are 10000000% correct.2. The big 3 era is not over...have they scheduled next years of AS games 3. I would pay ANY amount of money to attend the events in the garden. I have been with my girfriend (soon to be fiance..shhhh) for 4 years and I turned her into a green bleeding Celtics lover. Our new Valentines day tradition is watching AS game weekend. We center our celebration around the activities. We dont even celebrate the 14th of February, we celebrate AS weekend.
