I keep hearing about Love's "record breaking" numbers or season so far.  Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but what records is he breaking or on pace to break?

It's one of those silly "records" (or accomplishments) like:  Kevin Love is the first player ever to average 20 points, 15 rebounds, and shoot 40% from three in a season.

If only Love was a Celtic all hell would break loose on this board by him not being in the AS game.

Simple, if Love was a Celtic, he would be an All Star.

On a team that's on pace to go 24-58 for the season.

I don't take those 'first person to get stat A, stat B and stat C' accomplishments seriously. There are just too many possible combinations or stats.

It is also not a record, but just an accomplishment.

Ok I get it.  Like Love is on pace to set the "record" for the combination of most rebounds and fewest wins.  Got it.  ;)

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Oh, they can make it a "record", depending on how they phrase it.  "Kevin Love set the record for most rebounds averaged by a player scoring 20 points per game and shooting 40% from three".  But yes, these things make me cringe, too.
