despite all the bumbling around - we are scoring enough points - but we gotta get the defense in sync and REBOUND - may be waiting on the second half to tighten the screws on Dallas - very typical of great defensive teams like the C's.

Nice job by Perkins to get that second chance bucket.

Much better second quarter effort by the C's, just need to do a better job getting to the three point line and we should be able to win this game.

If we can play the same way, I doubt Dallas will hit 6/7 3s in the 2nd half.

Davis-- no shots in 10 minutes of play. Critics should be pleased. And  Nate 2/2--in fact, bench is scoring well. Now ramp up the D and we can go home.

Mavs 6-8 from three - there's your difference at the half.

This will be a 2nd half grind it out game..... THe scoring slowed down as the Celtics worked harder in the 2nd Qtr. Just need to find 45 points vs their 40.

  • GOT IT!!!
Looking at the boxscore Dallas being 6-8 from three is the difference right now. Barea is the only Maverick in double figures.

I don't think any analyst would have thought they would say that if the Celtics don't keep J.J. Barea slowed down in the 2nd half they might lose.
