In case you watch some of your games that way, and I'm sure many of you use these sites...

It seems like all of them. I won't give out the names of them, since I would assume that would be against this forums policy. At least one of them, though, is sprouting up under a different name, and I think that some will re-emerge again, since the hosting is done or can be done overseas. It's pretty interesting that it took the government this long, though.

Not half as much as it was painful for me to read.

There goes my ability to watch games on NBATV that don't take place in LA (where I live and get local cable channels) or in Chicago (WGN baby!).

Absolutely laughable that this falls under "Homeland Security."

Why doesn't the government stop wasting their time and our money on stuff like this and finish a way to make money of sites like these like they do with most things?

I'm in the same boat as you except I don't get WGN in my dorm.

This is very annoying.

Also why does the NBA consider NBA TV games national?  If they were national you would need an upgraded tv channel package.

In case someone was a fan of atd** (figure out the rest), try replacing .net with .me, and it still works (as stated in the above article). I think most of these sites will end up moving their hosting overseas, where it is pretty much untouchable. Besides, the advertising that these sites that stream content is so lucrative that they will find a way to stay open.

I'm sure Homeland Security got a lot of people's attention today, though.

I wonder what they are going to do with Sop****, seeing as most of those streams come from Russia or China.

I say invade both, it's a homeland security matter, after all.

I'm glad I validated my League Pass Broadband account last week, because I am away from home and have to watch tonight's game (and Monday's against Charlotte) on a computer.

I hope they ALL figure out a way around it soon, because I use streams for PPV events when I'm too cheap to order it, which is usually. It's hard enough finding a decent stream with all the different one's out there, last thing needed is less options.

They are still up but different domains. Found couple of mirrors on InsideHoops NBA forum. There is a thread dedicated to this on there.
