So much trash talk. So much news/articles to read felt like a playoff game.

Our bigs out muscling there's. Paul owning them. Rondo taking over. Perk holding his own just a week back or so.

Revenge for now at least. Can't wait till June.

Enjoying it ridiculously .. read everything about it today with a stupid grin on my face ... jolly ole day indeed!

Here, have a TP!

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Smiling every time I think of it.

I enjoy anything that makes it less likely that the Lakers take another ring. As small a chip as this might be, it puts them 1 more game behind us, another half-game behind the Spurs, and in a tie with Dallas in the loss column.  I root for any possible loss of HCA for LA and I hope (unlike many here) that they lose in the playoffs long before the Finals.

My dream scenario is Kobe, Phil, et al drinking Margueritas by Derek Fischer's pool while the C's are gutting it out against SA or Dallas.

This guy.  Game went from a back-and-forth battle with both teams playing at a high level to us gaining some separation to us steamrolling them as Kobe went back into '05 Chucker Mode.  It was great to watch, and I may watch it again tonight.

Fortuitously bumped into my Laker fan friend today.  I just sort of gave him an "ahem".  He played it off like he knew they were going to lose anyhow.  I made sure to point out to him how badly the Lakers laid down at the end...uncontested layups etc...
Yup

I'm still happy. I even go to Lakers sites to read about them crying. I love their pain.

if you want a great laugh go to http://forums.lakersground.net/viewforum.php?f=1

Nothing better than reading these faker fans tear their hair out and rip apart their own players. They have no heart, 2 time champs and they have no faith in their own team. But i guess i wouldnt either if i knew the other team was boston. ;D

It's true though - yesterday was great but sandwiching it with losses to two lottery teams would take a little of the shine off.  Just a little though.  :)

One of the most satisfying regular-season wins of the last few years. Does it erase the bitter end to last season? Of course not, but it surely helps.

Kings are up next, who have been playing decent of late (winning 3 of 4 - @POR, @LA and NOH) and are always dangerous at ARCO Arena. This game will determine how successful our west coast trip was.

I will say their inspired effort last night was nothing short of incredible. I look forward to the Lakers and Heat (and Dallas/Orlando too) coming to Boston in the next two weeks.

What we had last night was everything we should expect from the Big Three Plus One. Pierce the go-to scorer. Ray hitting big shots. Rondo leading the way. And most importantly, KG. Ripping down boards. Shutting down Gasol (who looked A LOT more like Gasoft). Hitting jumpers and finishing at the rim. The Celtics are too tough when they are getting performances like that.

The Lakers made their run like they usually do against us. This time, the Celtics saw them in the rear-view mirror and found the next gear.

Loved it all.

Any doubt this team can turn it on and off at will is gone.
