The Sixers have decided to think outside the box with their last pick and go for maximum value instead of maximum talent.  We will therefore be taking Eddy Curry's Expiring Contract with our 10th pick.



With our otherwise favorable salary cap situation, we look forward to using Eddy Curry's Expiring Contract (or the EC-Squared for short) to deal for a valuable piece from a struggling fellow Pick 2 franchise.

In order to ensure that no non-expiring contract aspects of Eddy Curry come into contact with the rest of our franchise, we have also commissioned the Fortress of Turpitude, an enclosed, well-padded and -Scotchgarded HoverRound unit that will shuttle Mr Curry between strip club VIP rooms and local cheesesteak establishments for the duration of his time in Philadelphia.  The EC-Squared itself will be safely stored in an argon-filled case in the National Archives until such time as we can use it to acquire an actual basketball player.
