Boston selects Andre Kirelenko
Sorry I missed my pick. Did Roy tell you that I love AK47 or did you just remember from past drafts? Or was he just the highest player on your board?

I did some deliberating, and Roy might've mentioned something.

Speaking of which, the whole BPA by PER thing is out. If you miss a pick basically I'm going to pick for you at 10PM. You might love it or hate it.

Another trade to announce:

5)
Minny sends Love, 3(2) 4(2)
Det sends Tayshaun Prince, Paul Pierce, 5(5)

Interesting.  Does that give Minnesota three small forwards?  I assume there will be other trades on the way.

I was kind of digging the inside / outside rebounding combo of Love and Noah, and was the only reason I was buying into the Noah pick even a little.  That said, I can't fault anybody for wanting the Captain.

EDIT:  The other shoe drops with Beasley for Jameer.  The Fake Twolves have definitely improved their position.

... and the Magic improved, I have to say ... a foundation of:

Howard: 22.3 PTs, 13.6 RBs, 1.2 ASTs

Beasley:  20.3 PTs, 5.9 RBs, 2.1 ASTs

Felton:     17.2 PTs, 3.7 RBs, 8.9 ASTs

Total:  59.8 PTs, 23.2 RBs, 12.2 ASTs

... and Felton an improvement in every category over Nelson ... I'm liking my core very much. :)

(Nelson: 12.4 PTs, 2.8 RBs, 6.5 ASTs)
Are you planning on using Beasley primarily as a PF or SF?

That depends on future acquisitions, etc.. ;)

Big board, trades should be updated. Working on players list now.

You're responsible for your own rosters/pick placements to be in the right place. If I've made a mistake, tell me.
Detroit's #5 should be Minn

In the first?
Detroit's 5th round pick (5,5) was traded to Min for his 3 & 4 in the love for Pierce & Prince deal

F:Parker,MKG,Budinger,Mirotic,Salmons

Even though I know some people don't like AK I'm a big fan and since there is no voting in this draft that's what counts.
I think him Rondo and KG are 3 elite defenders that will make the Celtics near impossible to score on. They all also pass the ball very well.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'm with you and really like AK47 and that mix of D is going to be tough to play against. Nice pick by IP!

Yeah, it was pretty predictable that you'd like that selection.  He's still not my favorite guy, but the entertainment value of KG (perhaps the most demanding teammate in the NBA) playing beside AK47 (perhaps the player with the thinnest skin in the NBA) would be fantastic.

I hope to find the time again this year to do the Roster Write-Ups, but I'm going to wait until we're through with the draft ... it took a lot of extra time to keep adjusting them after trades and add-ons. I'll do them in order of the draft, unless I get specific requests do do them ealier ... they're a bit time-consuming. :)

I knew that as soon as I didn't read Blandre Atche's name on your roster.

Yep.  That was the hardest decision of the whole process.    ::)
