Gortat has certainly looked great in Phoenix. I thought the Suns might have been tempted to keep him.

Thought about it. Frankly, I didn't think he'd be gone in the 1st. I thought he might be around for me to draft in a later round.

Doesn't help that he's posted very nice numbers on the night of and immediately after the keeper deadline.

Also, there's at least one other C still on the board I consider better on defense. Gortat's got youth on his side, though. [And Steve Nash.]
