Agreed -- Vince is a better defensive player than Mayo + a far superior rebounder.

As a stand-alone defensive player, I agree. But not at the 2 - especially considering Phoenix already has some slower small forwards in Artest & Omri
I like VC at the 2 much better than at SF. He's not good with guys who are strong enough to push him around. Doesn't like to play physical defense that is required in those match ups.

Even alongside Artest though? They just seem waaaaay too slow to play alongside eachother in today's NBA

I agree with Faf here.  VC is a much better bet at plugging in at the 2 than the 3.

I also agree that Carter can't play the three. Just not strong or long enough to match up against most there.

I view him strictly as a SG. And I don't think Mayo is a defensive upgrade over him there either. A lateral move, but one that gained me an early 7th, and a guy who can play PG when Nash is on the bench.

If anyone is interested in 7.1, I am looking to move down a few spots, and pick up ideally a second pick in the 7th round (I would throw in a later pick or two as well).

I'll also consider offers for the 7.2, although I would be happy to make the selection.

It looks like I'm up.  Dallas selects Josh Childress.  He is having a difficult year, but I think a lot of that has to do with the system.  Put him in a system that rewards defense and versatility rather than catch and shoot guys, and he will be back to the super-sub he was in Atlanta.

Also, willing to trade any future picks for a pick in the 7th round.  Make me an offer!

Looks like I am up.

Perhaps a reach here, but I don't think he'll be around much longer. Phoenix selects Al-Farouq Aminu.

I had Farouq rated above Childress, better defender and younger
