All Star reserves - Name four deserving non-Celtics?

I firmly believe that Ray, Pierce, Garnett, and Rondo deserve to be all stars this year. With seven slots left, getting four of those seven slots is going to be very hard. Four other non-Celtics will make sure that at least one of our guys will be snubbed.

That said, I am trying to think of four other players in the East who deserve a spot over our guys.

Bosh, Granger, Bargnani, Felton, Bogut, Josh Smith, Boozer?

I don't think any of those guys deserve a spot over our "Big 4"

Am I missing anyone?

Josh Smith, Felton and Bogut yes...

however Bargnani like Shaq says is not a real center...dude only scores and barely grab rebounds
Boozer yes he does deserve to be on the all star game but been injured a lot...missed too many games
Bosh, well just because i dont like him
As for Granger...I dont know, i like him, but I prefer Pierce on there...

are the reserves announced yet?

Boozer, Noah, Bogut, Bosh, Horford are all deserving F/Cs. Guards I don't think Felton deserves to be an all-star, probably just Joe Johnson.

I don't think Josh Smith or Danny Granger are deserving this year.

From what I have heard, three of the big four should be locks and that the last spot will come down to Ray Ray and Felton.

::)

Felton's going to make the all-star game based on helping take the Knicks to a 6 seed...

You are probably right. But if that happens, it would be a big travesty.

I could understand how Ray Ray got snubbed last year. But this year, he's probably the most deserving Celtic.

I don't see how Felton can get voted by the coaches before Ray, especially when Ray is on the verge on breaking the all time 3 point record on an amazingly efficient shooting season. Making the Knicks a barely above 50% team simply is not enough.

I think he's deserving, but he's 4th in my view of the Celtic's canidates.

I'm assuming the reserve voting done by the coaches is somehow based on position to ensure each position has suitable reserves.  In that case Ray is really going up a against JJ and Felton for the 2 guard spots.

You figure there's  2 C slots, and then 2 or 3 for the G and F for a total of 7.  I guess for Ray it could also come down to the 3rd G vs the 3rd F.

Problem for Ray though is I could see many coaches not wanting to vote for 3 or 4 Celtics.

I wouldn't have any issues with Felton making the team, he's a had a good year.

The argument could be made for any of those guys to be 4th. People keep talking about Pierce having a career year, when Ray Allen is as well. He has been the most overlooked player even by our fans this year. His numbers are pretty eye popping

Rondo has to be a lock here.
Garnett isn't exactly a lock, but I feel 90/10 on him making it. If Reggie Evans had played more than 15 games, maybe he would be in this argument. Kris Humphries is the only Eastern PF averaging more rebounds per game than Garnett, and hasn't missed a game yet, but would he really be voted in over KG?
Pierce i'm about 75/25 on making it. He is having a terrific year, but so is Joe Johnson. I feel he is the only real major threat to take Pierce's spot, due to coaches not wanting to vote in so many Celtics. Nick Young may be a longshot as well, but he played VERY well in Washington.
Ray Ray is where I have no clue how I feel. Far and away, he deserves that backup SG spot. JJ Redick is the only other SG that comes close statistically, and he has put up good numbers, but not all-star numbers, and not better than Ray. But plenty of people could sneak in while coaches are looking elsewhere besides Boston...but I wouldn't be overly shocked to see Jamal Crawford sneak in here.
St. Louis Bombers (formerly Sacremento Kings)

PG-Tyreke Evans/Avery Bradley/John Lucas III
SG-Nick Young/Rudy Fernandez
SF-Linas Kleiza/MarShon Brooks
PF-Al Harrington/Kenneth Faried/Reggie Evans
 C-Roy Hibbert/Ian Mahinmi/Jason Smith  10.18

They don't go by shootings guards they go by "Guards" in general. So a guy like Ray Felton or another point could make it as well. Also Joe Johnson is a SG not a SF
