Very good thing the blazers have no players, because the celts have been pretty awful tonight.  18 offensive boards for Portland, but celts have eliminated the turnovers in the second half. A win is. In!

Is this 1997? Where is Jeff Van Gundy? Pat Riley?

I feel like David Stern is going to have all these refs killed for allowing this kind of game to be played. This is ugly basketball (which I am enjoying by the way).

I'm just ready for this one to over. 3 stressful quarters and tomorrow is going to be no cakewalk.

Celtics have just ground the Blazers down in this game, they've won ever quarter: by 3, by 1, by 2, and then by 7 so far.

I'd mentioned this earlier...Blazers came out physical and hard...like how we play and like to play. We can sustain it...other teams can't. We wear them out.

Great block against Ray.

he hit Ray in the face hard
Follow through contact well after the ball has been thoroughly blocked are usually missed.

well then I hope Perk keeps that in mind next time he blocks a shot

The only time I'll say this but I'm almost glad Tommy wasn't there... he'd probably get so mad at the refs he'd show his love by knocking one of them out. Przybilla style.

Rondo can't bring the ball up cos he can't make free throws and now pierce I hurt.  Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.?

Why is PP going to the locker room? Did I miss something?

Is it in gameplans for Rondo sag off and not pressure the ball??

For this whole game he has given Miller like 8 feet of space. Meanwhile Rondo is getting picked up at halfcourt everytime.

How is that not a flagrant?

EDIT: not a flagrant..but should have been a foul.

Lemme remind you about rondo's exact same foul on Brad Miller in that Bulls Celtics first round series in 09. Exact same foul and they called a flagrant. And it's even worse cus its a bigger guy on a smaller guy!

What happened to Paul?

Semi-injured. Mike said something about his ankle that gave him problems the other night.
