Celts are a much bigger team than the blazers so how is their length bothering us?  The boxing out tonight has been brutally bad.

I keep thinking the same thing but I dont know what we can do when the bigs are sprinting from the ft line when a shot goes up from the perimeter. Unless there is a wall of players around the paint, it is impossible to get a body on everyone.

The key is to make the Blazers pay for crashing the glass by getting out on transtition. havent done that yet.

wow, how did the refs let the play go on after the 24 second violation but they stopped the celtics fast break in the same situation in the 1st half?

The refs "owe" the Blazers every call this half after shooting only 2 free thrws in the 1st. Watch out for an unevenly officiated 4th quarter.

18 turnovers

Portland is trash other than Aldridge. This is ridiculous.

Miller's an excellent PG, Pryzbilla a very solid 5.  They are weak at the wings without Roy, but this is still a solid team.

Blazers are in the game because they have 16 offensive boards

I agree, though you have to admit a big part of the reason they have 16 offensive boards is that they've missed 43 shots and they're shooting in the high 30s.

Blazers have active athletic bigs, so they'll get their rebounds. If we keep them shooting under 40% I like our chances.

The Celtics are playing very good defense, they just have given up a ton of dumb turnovers and sloppy offensive rebounds in the first half.
