I know voting ended earlier this week, but no word yet on the starters. When do starters and subs get announced? Also, when does the head coached get chosen? Doc has a great shot at it since we are up over Miami in the east by 3 games, but how long do we have to hold them at bay for in order for Doc to secure the spot?

The starters are announced Thursday during the TNT broadcast. I don't remember when the reserves are chosen.

two weeks before the game

usually or at least hsitorically

If the game is on 20 for example, we should know reserves by 3

NOW.

I'm fine with the selections, except that I think that they should separate Small forwards from Power Forwards. Melo and Durant were selected to be both forwards (3 and 4) but I think a legit PF should be starting. Pau Gasol will most likely replace Yao.

Carmelo and Durant could both play the PF position and still be all-star level players. I don't see a problem with it.

Chris Weber/Barkely just declared that KG isn't an all-star, but that Kurt Thomas should get an honorable mention  ::).

Information on Doc coaching and who his main competition is.

His main competition right now is our old friend Thibs and Spoelstra. Whoever's team has the best record by all-star break will get the head coaching gig.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Webber is jealous of KG...noticed it last season.Could it be KG got a ring and he never did or will unless he becomes a part a winning franchise in another capacity. He tries to fool the public and McHale into beleiving he's a big fan of KG's but when you look back into their matchups as players KG burned him quite a few times. This is his way of getting even.I dislike Webber&Barkley because both are bias in their analogies from week to week and don't try to hide it.What gets me is neither has a ring but has the loudest mouths with the most to say.Mchale and Kenny Smith know that playing good defense is what wins championships usually and when they try to express it to the other two idiots it ends up falling on deaf ears.imo
