I've got to say, I still have a lot of love for Big Al.  I don't get to see him play much anymore, but I still love the hope that he represented during his time as a Celtic (and that he brought us KG).  Looking forward to seeing him on a decent team.
Yup

I really dont care that much about Big Al anymore
But i can live with him coming to the cs when theres money to
get him. Those post moves are good, and it will be my first Utah game of the season ( thats impresive) considering I am watching 2 games a day this days.and they play the west..lol

I wish him well unless he is playing us.   After all, he was instrumental in getting us KG.

It's evaporated ... his lack of development since leaving the Celtics + his drop in performance since his injuries.

It's been disappointing. Pity.

al who?!?!  in all honesty, the second he was traded, i moved on :)

back before the kg deal went down and there were rumors, i was in the camp of trade who ever we need to trade to get kg in here.

i appreciate big al for what he did here, but i dont miss him in the slightest.  i actually miss ryan gomes tho (i missed delonte most, but he is back :) )

I still love him enough to vote him for the all star game over a long list of more deserving players.

Then again, isn't that what all star voting is all about?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Absolutely love the guy. In my opinion, should be in the running of DPoY. Playing with Williams has really helped him as well on the offensive side.

I'll never forget him as a Celtic, and love wearing his jersey when he comes to town. Easily my favorite "non-Celtic" player in the league.

Plus there's his quote towards the end of the 2006 season before the draft when everyone was talking about Oden, "Just give me a chance. I can get us there. Just give us a chance, me and Paul. We'll get there." or something along those lines. The guy wanted to be a Celtic through and through. I'll always have a place for him.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

haven't seen him play this year but I still check his box score. looks like he has improved as a shot blocker. definatly rebounding less but still above average, scoring a little less but i wonder if that's because of the jazz system.
hope he doesn't come in wit ha chip on his shoulder on friday, but he is a fighter and i bet he's had this game circled all season.

Al, unlike Perk, never made the commitment to D. Love him, but would not want to build another team around him.

Still rock the "Jefferson 7" player t-shirt every now & then.

Don't miss his defense but he was (and is) a joy to watch in the post.

He was a favorite of mine back in the day.
