So you cite Baron's one recent playoff run as proof he doesn't quit.

What about all the teams he's subsequently quit on by letting his conditioning fail and getting himself benched by his coach?

If the draft takes place in an alternate reality where players stay happy and can never sign elsewhere, why can't they all stay in shape and try hard too?  Eddy Curry, here I come!

Right now? I see no quitter in Baron Davis. I did not take into consideration the "Allegations".

Did not know that we are bringing up past alleged issues with players into the Pick Two game.

I saw the need for a Floor General vice a scorer, and I went with Baron Davis.

Sure - of course there are other PGs better, but not many. I see no realistic shot at getting them.

I needed a facilitator, and boy Griff sure seems happy with B-Diddy in real life. I see no one else giving Griff those lobs.

FWF - surely you jest.

Of course I see the logic in my picks.

Okay, I guess we'll pretend cheese burgers and fried chicken don't exist too. So who's signing Antoine since he clearly weights 220 tops and can still jump?

Steal of the draft if you hadn't ruined it!

I tell you what - I'll pick up Antoine if the situation presents itself.

And I love Fried Chicken - even though it's not good for you.

It's all about moderation.

Baron Davis is a solid moderator/facilitator for the Clips, that's why I picked him.

Besides - didn't IP say that this was for fun?

I am having fun! Honestly the announcement of keepers and watching the draft unfold are the best parts of this.

Like 90% of the time  ;)

Pick your team however you want to make it.  Heck, Thumper picked Scal in the first round last year if I remember right (not saying that's the same as keeping Baron, just saying there's no wrong way to make a team)

Baron Davis is a risky pick because of his poor stretch of play over the past 18 months but if he keeps up his most recent level of performance, over the past month, the difference between him and Eric Gordon talent wise isn't large.

The main benefit to Gordon is that he is younger and gives your team a better future.

However, for this season alone, assuming Baron can maintain his current play, they are pretty close talent wise.
